Now that there is the potential for countries to be easing their lockdowns and having people return to more of a sense of normality. Aspects of normality like dating will return as well. However there is most likely going to be several changes in dating, from the sites to the dates themselves.
The coronavirus has changed the world view of many people around the world. Many feeling the fear of the contagion or feeling the isolating effects of the lockdown that it caused, that no one could have foreseen.
There are many silver-linings however. Before lockdown many had not realized the potential of being able to work from home and there is better appreciation to those who work in key positions that have had to continue working. Such as NHS, supermarkets and logistics to keep people around their country supplied.
The world of online dating is sure to change as well.
Although many people are excited of being able to regain normalcy, we will all have to be careful to prevent causing a new wave of coronavirus spreading. This means that although adting can be done there will most likely have to be some chances, especially to conventional dating. Normally you would think that: nostringsdating would suffer but instead they already offer ways to contact and talk to each other.
Currently to my knowledge no dating site does dedicated video chat on their site. But that is surely the direction a lot of sites will choose.
However I am sure that many dating sites will adopt video chat abilities. This will be something that will improve: sex dating sites as a whole in multiple ways. As video chat abilities will help out with personality matching, the start off points of getting to know each other better and even to help lessen people catfishing.
The sites that are quickest to adapt and adopt video calling each other via their site rather than having to go through another service will be ahead of the competition as well as ensuring the safety of their members.
Video Dating
There are several ways in which you can do a video date.
You can be as creative and interesting as you want to be but here are a couple of suggestions:
Cooking Date
During many ‘normal’ dates you will go out together and most likely enjoy a meal or a drink together.
Now if you love to cook and especially if you want to put on a little fun cooking show then why not do a video cooking date.
Chat about what to cook individually before the video date and then once it starts you can get cooking together. Got a special recipe why not teach your date how to make it. Taking it in turns so that you can both learn to cook a meal you are both proud of making or enjoy.
This will be a fun way to bond over the prep in the kitchen.
Film Date
Now you can’t head out to the cinema at the moment but many of the latest releases are going straight to streaming services. If you both have the same streaming service then you could pick out a film, or even a TV program if you prefer, to put on at the same time together.
You can then enjoy in each others company.
Why not do some cinema snacks as well. Sweets, coke and of course popcorn! Either ones you can pop yourself or premade.
